Heima is a meticulously put together Japanese style cafe at the far end of Cheung Chau near the pirate cave. It's a very quiet and serene place to relax and chill out. It's probably one of the most chilled out cafes in all of Hong Kong. The coffee and teas on offer are good, with some more interesting matcha combinations on offer. The only downside is that it's opening hours are very limited and it's not open at all from Sunday to Wednesday.

I loved the environment, the music was great. They offered a variety of desserts. The oat milk latte was OK, had a sour after taste to it. Would prefer it to be more balanced.

Heima Heima is a water front coffee shop with fantastic view and a cozy Scandinavian design, simple yet beautiful. Their collection of books on coffee and coffee shop design is very nice too. Make sure you check out their bookshelf :) The food served is definitely lit. The Taro & Honey Chiffon Cake on the right is quite special, as you don’t often get mashed taro as cream on cake. I love it dearly, especially the hint of honey. The chiffon cake was quite spongy. The Matcha and Red Beans Pudding was very decent too, with strong green tea flavour and not overly sweet at all. Everything is just so right to the point and very enjoyable. Not sure about what tea it is, as my friend placed the order, but the tea was really nice to go with the dessert. A perfect fika for a Saturday afternoon.

Just a place I needed after many hours exploring Cheung Chau. Visited on a Thursday afternoon. Very nice, cosy and with relaxing music and atmosphere. Can feel the effort of the owner and staff in preparing the place, food & drinks. Refreshing, great experience. A local friend who recommended this place often spends hours there with a book, in one of their private corners. Now I can understand why

Beautiful location and very kind service. Perfect for a break to enjoy the breeze by the sea. It might take a little wait but worth it for sure. Can choose to sit inside with different seating options like a Japanese style low table perfect to enjoy their selection of Japanese tea beverages or outside and watch some tiny little birds eagerly being fed by their parents.
